From your base at the Royal Garden you can visit the unique designer boutiques, bars and restaurants of Kensington High Street, walk to the chic Notting Hill area, famous for its Carnival and in films or enjoy the exhibits at the Victoria & Albert, Science and Natural History Museums. The world renowned concert venue of the Royal Albert Hall is on your doorstep and the international exhibition centres of Earl's Court and Olympia are within easy reach. Catch the tube from nearby Kensington High Street station and be whisked into the West End for more retail therapy in Oxford Street or visit the theatres, clubs and other entertainment of the area.
On site, the Royal Garden offers all the facilities and service one expects from a 5 star hotel. You can choose from two restaurants depending on your mood. The Tenth is situated on the 10th floor and offers fine dining on international cuisine with a stunning vista over Hyde Park and the London skyline and the Tenth bar is ideal for a champagne tete-a-tete. Park Terrrace has a lovely open feel with views of the Gardens and driveway of Kensington Palace and serves British speciality meals. Its Cafe Bar is open to the public. Bertie's bar, named after Queen Victoria's eldest son, has a cosy, Victorian ambience complete with wood panelling and a library of books, ideal for a beer or late night cocktail. The Royal Garden has a Civil Wedding license and the staff would be delighted to help you plan your special day.
One of the Royal Garden's many assets is the Soma Centre. This health spa offers a complete range of therapies, including cardio-vascular gym, exercise classes, sauna, personal trainers and alternative treatments.
Business guests are also catered for with the Royal Garden's customary efficiency. There are 12 purpose built meeting rooms including the Palace suite which is a single open space with direct acess for loading and umloading. The dedicated business team is on hand to help organise your function and show the full range of secretarial and office services that are available as well as guide you through the audio-visual and IT equipment on site. The business area can take up to 550 delegates in a theatre style.
